R. M. Davenport graduated from the University of Maine at Machias with a background in creative writing and book arts. R. M. Davenport lives openly as an openly queer woman living with bipolar disorder, and is primarily focused on tackling difficult conversations around trauma, poverty and mental illness so often shrouded in shame with openness through the arts. She has recently had work featured in issues of DuFrank Lit, Feels Blind Literary, and the Rockvale Review. She has recently had artwork featured in Libre Lit Magazine.
