Lost is Forgotten

She is lost

in her black ball cap

and black padded coat.

At least 7 rows off

until her vehicle comes into sight.

She still recognizes it today

but how many more shopping

trips

until the number of aisles

don’t matter

and being lost

means remembering nothing

at all.
